Opening Our Doors to Our Community
This week, Cloudability moved into its “new” office space — well, new to Cloudability. 334 NW 11th has been home to many significant players in the Portland tech space over the years, including Simple, Jama, Urban Airship and Opal, and now Cloudability is continuing the building’s story.
Wednesday we held an open house and welcomed members of the community to kick off the next chapter of Cloudability with us and explore our new space.
Sharing our Space
“The way we see it, we are now caretakers of this building that has already played a significant role in the Portland startup scene,” said Mindee Humphrey, People Director at Cloudability. “We are excited to make the space ours and give back to the community that has opened their arms to us.”
Cloudability’s CEO and Founder Mat Ellis has been vocal about his involvement with Business for a Better Portland, an organization with the goal of ensuring that Portland is an equitable city where prosperity can be shared by all. For that reason, he’s made the decision to make meeting space available to local groups and nonprofits in need of a place to gather at Cloudability’s new headquarters.
