Cloudability Founder and CEO, Mat Ellis, Named a QuantumShift 2018 Top Entrepreneur in America
We’re thrilled to announce that our founder and CEO, Mat Ellis, has been selected as one of QuantumShift’s “Top Entrepreneurs in America for 2018” by KPMG LLP’s Private Markets Group and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Each year, QuantumShift selects 40 of the country’s most promising entrepreneurs to participate in a rigorous, five-day developmental experience to help them lead their businesses to the next level of success.
The highly-competitive program, which takes place at the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan, challenges entrepreneurs to refine their leadership approach, inspire their teams and maximize growth opportunities. QuantumShift is intended for high-growth entrepreneurs at the top of their game. Mat seemed a natural fit for the program.
Since founding Cloudability in 2011, Mat has led Cloudability on its mission to empower organizations to master the cloud and achieve financial and operational excellence through increased visibility and reporting. He has guided the company through five acquisitions, the formation of three offices in addition to the Portland headquarters and an expanded headcount of more than 100 employees. Beyond his role at Cloudability, Mat sits on the board of the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network and the Technology Association of Oregon. A former Techstars Mentor, Mat has a history of advising entrepreneurs across the U.S., and has helped scale several startups to critical mass or exit.
Mat joins QuantumShift’s many notable alumni, including CEOs from companies like CipherCloud, Handy and IT Cosmetics. For more information on the QuantumShift program, visit www.quantumshiftus.com and follow conversations on Twitter using #QuantumShiftUS.
